I have been practicing yoga since 2005 and teaching yoga since 2016. I was inspired by Krishnamacharya’s one-one yoga instruction and hence studied with Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy school. I graduated from PRYT’s 500 hr yoga teacher training in 2017. I facilitate mind-body-breath awareness in all my yoga classes: YIN, Hatha, therapeutic or prenatal.
I have gone through transformational experiences twice: once from being an indecisive, dependent individual to a self-empowered person and the second time from being a stressful person to one who accepts life as it is. Even-though life events had a part to play, I feel that I developed these qualities through my yoga practice. I believe that all higher, aspirational qualities are achievable when we connect to our true self as it encompasses all. I love hip openers. My classes are gentle with a strong focus on mindfulness.
